Somewhere between the timeless beauty of classic romance and a cool bohemian flair we find ourselves blissfully lost in the fairytale that is Theresa and Brandon Ashcraft’s wedding. As a photographer, in my opinion, one of the best accessories a bride can have is abundant natural lighting. Theresa had more than my heart could handle. The way the golden beams danced in and out of the trees standing attention behind these two lovebirds as their promised their lives to each other was only second to the sunset we had the fortunate opportunity to steal for some truly stunning after-ceremony shots.
It would be nearly impossible to pick my favorite detail from this event, but if I had to, I would have to say the bride’s gown. Theresa was adorned in an effortlessly sculpted slip silhouette highlighted by full-length lace sleeves, and geometric elements accenting her delicately exposed back.
Every love story has a beginning, and the Ashcraft’s is one you won’t want to miss--
“Brandon and I both went to Robinson High. In high school we always had mutual friends so we knew of each other. After school, Brandon went to Sam Houston to play football and I stayed here in Waco. While we were both in college, our paths crossed again. Brandon always wanted to hang out with me, but of course I played hard to get. Before I knew it, he was driving home every weekend all the way from Huntsville to see me. At that point I decided this guy was something special so I gave him a chance. His persistence paid off!”
The couple wanted the wedding to highlight their laid back personalities. I can wholeheartedly say this was achieved in the most beautiful of ways. It was a flawless, golden day. A simple and perfect mix of rustic accents, vintage beauty, and a fun bohemian flair. I couldn’t picture a more perfect start for the most perfect couple. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day. Congratulations and best wishes!
